Part 6 – “My employees love it”
Don’t design/structure your website so that you and your employees can navigate it. Plan it so that your customers/clients/audience can use and benefit from it (unless you’re building an office intranet site… totally differed!).
Instead of owning a site that satisfies you and your employees, ask yourself:
- Does my audience like my site?
- Is it helping to sell/advertise/inform successfully?
- Is it helping me reach the goals I want?
- Have I acknowledged and made changes for problems pointed out by others?
Always cater to the people you’re working to attract.
